What personal data we collect and why
Account Registration When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, and billing information. This data is used to manage your account, process transactions, and facilitate connections between buyers and co-packers on our platform.
Listing Information (Co-packers) Co-packers who submit listings provide business details including facility address, certifications, production capabilities, and photos. This information is displayed publicly on the platform to facilitate business connections.
Bookings and Transactions When a booking is made, we collect transaction details, communication records, and billing information necessary to process payments through our secure payment processor (Stripe).
Comments and Reviews When users leave reviews on listings, we collect the review content along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent for spam detection purposes.
Media If you upload images to your listing or profile, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may be able to download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Cookies We use cookies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. A full list of cookies used on this platform is available in our Cookie Policy. When you log in, we set cookies to save your login information for up to two days, or two weeks if you select “Remember Me.”
Embedded content Pages on this site may include embedded content such as maps or videos. Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited those websites directly and may collect data about you.
Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Baron Co-Pack does not store full credit card information on its servers. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.
Who we share your data with
We share data with the following third parties solely to operate the platform: Stripe (payment processing), Google Analytics (traffic analysis), and Namecheap (hosting and email delivery). We do not sell your personal data to any third parties.
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.
How long we retain your data
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Transaction and booking records are retained for 7 years for legal and accounting purposes in accordance with Canadian law. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; withdraw consent at any time; file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) or the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI).

Where your data is sent
Data may be processed on servers located in Canada and the United States. All third-party processors are contractually bound to protect your data in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy law.
